Paul Gallagher MICM

The Proprietor of ktl Consultancy & Legal Services has been involved in legal and investigation work since 1972.

After leaving college he trained as a Draughtsman and remained in that profession for 17 years. In a change of direction he took the opportunity to become an enquiry agent which gave him experience in Process Serving, Bank Card Recovery, Evidence of Means interviewing, Insurance Claim Interviews (Road Traffic Accidents, Unemployment and Disability Claims), Motor Vehicle accident site locus attendance - for the purpose of preparing scale drawings and sketch plans, together with supporting photographs.

Prior to his Proprietorship of ktl he has held the position of Director and Company Secretary during his 15 years with a firm of Enquiry Agents and Debt Collectors in London, and as a Partner in a firm of Enquiry Agents for a further 10 years.

Experiences also include holding a Bailiffs' Certificate for the past 25 years, first at Wandsworth County Court - London, then Kingston-upon-Thames County Court in Surrey and finally Staines County Court.

Is a member of the Institute of Credit Management and has been a member since March 1980, holds a Consumer Credit Licence issued by the Office of Fair Trading No. 577182, for categories A C E & F - Consumer Credit, Credit Brokerage, Debt Collection and Credit Reference Agency. Also registered with the Office of Fair Trading Data Protection since 2000.

Terence M Hayes FSBT, MIBA

An Associate of ktl Consultancy & Legal Services has a life time experience of small business having been many years in retail management, manufacturing marketing and a number of own business projects; prior to taking up an appointment with South Kent College, a post held for 11 years.

More recently has worked in applying business principles to a local charity and continues to hold the post Director and Company Secretary of their trading company.

Experience has provided a wide range of all sorts of smaller businesses, and advice can be given on most topics, but in the main specialises in business planning, cash flow forecasting and financial management, marketing, selling, and people management. Also specialises in small business law (includes Company and Charity Law).
